ASTORIA — Fort George Brewery will host an in-person discussion of the recently released book, “Eminent Oregonians” Wednesday evening.
The event is scheduled to take place in the Lovell Showroom. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m.
The book focuses on the history of significant Oregonians, including suffragist Abigail Scott Duniway, politician Richard Neuberger and civil rights trailblazer Jesse Applegate. All three of these Oregonians were iconoclasts, at odds with the times in which they lived.
The book was written by Jane Kirkpatrick, R. Gregory Nokes and Steve Forrester, former editor and publisher of The Astorian and president and CEO of EO Media Group.
